Blog #005 – Poem of Truth

Truth…

is a thought, a language, a substance.

It is a thought for the lonely mind,
A language for an oppressed man,
A substance for the heart of steel.

In an age where sensibility is ‘old fashioned’,
Ignorance is the new ‘sense’,
Creating ‘non’-sensical society,
A breeding place for a flock of ‘sheep’.

They don’t realize that the sheep needs to be hoarded,

By wolves waiting on the sidelines,
To devour them as the main dish,
It’s because everyone’s being childish.

It’s like talking to a schoolboy,
Whether you’ve reminded them or you don’t,
They will still bound by mistakes,
But it’s more peaceful to be ignorant.

What is ‘ fantasy’ for them,
Is a ‘reality’ to me,
As what is infallible for me,
Is merely a fable to them.

How does it feel like to have the truth,
But living on the side of falsehood?

How does it feel like to preach the truth,
And having to defend yourself against hatred?

Ask the Prophets,
They might know a thing or two.

They said that this life is like of a traveler,
Who are resting his feet,
In transition to the next journey,
Which is the afterlife.

Such a short life, but very painful,
For those who longed for the ultimate truth,
Such short life, but very blissful,
For those who lived in the ultimate falsehood.

If tomorrow comes and the truth prevails,
The tables will turn, and the truth ship sails,
But as Noah and his followers have entailed,
Only those who ride the ship will be saved.
